As a not-for-profit, the Tiny Town Association is working to establish ways that small modular homes can integrate into society, not to disrupt traditional forms of housing, but to support them. The increasing costs of homeownership is going to impact the resale value of homes in the near future which could cause an abundance of big empty homes. Small modular homes can be that stepping stone into and out of traditional homeownership
Our Goal
We believe that sustainably built and affordable small modular homes are sensible housing solution. Our goal is to encourage the development of small modular home communities through advocation, demonstration, and consulting. The TTA will work to expand the affordable housing options available across Canada, within a plan that is environmentally responsible, replicable, and will remain affordable for future generations.
Our Vision
As a not-for-profit, the TTA is working to establish ways that small modular homes can integrate into society. Not to disrupt traditional forms of housing, but support them. The increasing costs of homeownership affects a broad range of individuals. Small modular homes can be that stepping stone into and out of traditional homeownership.
Our Values
We believe in deeply and and long-lasting affordable housing models with small modular homes as the main feature product. We believe that community is key, and that people are wired to connect with and thrive along side with nature. By designing and building sustainable, eco-responsible, cooperative models we are working towards a housing option that is also good for the planet.

Tofe Olatunde
Tofe is a tiny home enthusiast, viewing them as a cozy and intentional way of living. With a background in residential interior design, they are excited to contribute to the development of tiny homes through their work with the Tiny Town Association. After living in British Columbia and the Maritimes, Tofe has spent the past decade studying and working in the Greater Toronto Area. The experience of growing up in a slower-paced environment fostered their respect for natural resources. While larger cities are great for diversity, educational opportunities, and career prospects, environmental issues and affordable housing are often overlooked. Tiny homes symbolize a departure from the culture of excess and overconsumption and take a step towards a more socially and environmentally sustainable future. Several factors contribute to housing insecurity, and Tofe is eager to create more affordable options through tiny homes. Housing is a human right and should respect the land it’s on while providing a beautiful space people can take pride in.
