Collège Boréal Partnership
We at the Tiny Town Association are thrilled to announce a partnership with Collège Boréal in Sudbury, Ontario. Denis R. Ouimette, Coordinator & Professor of the Architecture Department, has incorporated the design and build of a tiny home into their curriculum. This is the first phase of us seeing the creation of a tiny home being built in partnership with a college for the purposes of experiential learning and donation, seeing the end product donated to an affordable housing provider. We look forward to working closely with the college as we strive to show tiny homes can be an affordable housing solution. I can’t wait to see what the students design!
Hopefully we will be able to connect with more colleges, universities and high schools to build tiny home programs, that will benefit local affordable and homelessness housing needs across Canada. Please connect with us if you would like more information.
